Tuscany

Fattoria di Caspri is located in the Chianti region. Bertrand Hapsiger left Alsace for Tuscany 20 years ago. 9 hectares of vineyards, mostrly Sangiovese, some Canaiolo, Cieligiolo, Syrah, Pinot Nero, Trebbiano and Malvasia. Wines with a lot of energy, freshness but also full bodied, spicy and full with power. The wines ages very well.

Filippo Volpi ownes 3 hectares of just Sangiovese. All made by hand. Every grape is pressed with his own feet. Inspirred by Burgundy style. Wild en energetic wines. A real passionated men.
